This free upgrade for XL2 Data Explorer users expands NTi’s PC-based app providing spectral noise analysis and reporting of noise data from the XL2 sound level meter. New features broaden the noise data analysis, provide day-night level calculation and enable shared data storage. For noise logging, users can define specific time periods (markers) and calculate the averaged spectrum to help identify tones and potential frequency bands causing noise annoyances. Results are displayed in a scalable chart to fit a report.
