BARCELONA – Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 has wrapped up a highly successful week in Barcelona, welcoming 85,351 visitors from 168 countries, up 15.5 percent from ISE 2024’s attendance stats. Here are some gear highlights included in FRONT of HOUSE’s Feb. 2025 issue.
Amadeus Acoustics ART Platform
Designed for multi-channel / multi-room applications, the ART platform is a software-based system that empowers venues of all sizes (2 – 256 channels) to achieve superior sound control. Its modular and scalable design enables seamless audio management across individual spaces or multiple zones, for any stereo or immersive event or application. Hardware ranges from portable units (ART::Box) to compact and high-capacity, rack-mount servers (ART::Hub 1 and ART::Hub 2), with seamless integration with mixing desks, DAWs and show control platforms.
Blaze Audio Shipping Ci Series Loudspeakers
Available in black or white, the Ci series speaker line (acquired from Cornered Audio ApS of Denmark) is now available globally and are an ideal match with Blaze Audio’s PowerZone amplifiers, software and controllers. The IP-rated Series includes the Ci2, Ci4, Ci4-V, Ci5, and Ci5-V triangular ABS cabinets that fits into vertical and horizontal corners and can be coupled together to increase coverage to 180°or 270°. CS8 and CS12 subwoofers can be added indoors to offer expanded low-frequency performance.
Fulcrum One
Fulcrum One is a free, complete software environment for designing, simulating and modeling sound reinforcement systems, immersive audio installs and room acoustics. Its user-friendly interface allows the tuning, optimization, deployment, and control of conventional and immersive audio systems. Users can plan speakers, acoustical treatments and immersive components in 3D to predict how your sound system will behave in different configurations and acoustical conditions, and manage Fulcrum’s immersive tools, loudspeaker processing, speaker arrays, adaptive steering and other components from a centralized interface.
Linea Research System Engineer 8 Software
System Engineer delivers easy-to-use DSP and power management with a workflow-based design to get audio systems up and running in minutes. The new software — free from Linea Research’s website — enhances the audio capabilities of its products, communicating all the system information necessary to keep your audio network operational on one easy-to-read screen in a simple graphical format. In short, System Engineer 8 control & telemetry software provides the level and accuracy of integrated control that sound engineers require.
Listen Technologies and Ampetronic Shipping Auri
Auri lets venues and end users adopt Auracast broadcast audio technology, a new standard for Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, for assistive listening in public spaces. Auri delivers high-quality, low-latency, multi-channel audio to an unlimited number of dedicated receivers and newly emerging Auracast-compatible consumer devices. Hardware units include a stereo/mono transmitter, charging stations and Auri RX1 compact receivers. The Auri can be used with all other assistive listening technologies or combined with ListenIR, ListenRF, ListenWIFI, or Ampetronic hearing loops in new installs.
NTi XL3 Firmware Update
Firmware V1.42 of NTi’s XL3 handheld acoustic analyzer brings a new user interface that simplifies sound insulation measurements for building acoustics evaluations, with all 1/3-octave levels in the transmitting and receiving rooms displayed as line graphics. This enables intuitive visual recording of the spectrum and also allows multiple levels and reference values to be displayed simultaneously, for even faster, more efficient analyses. These enable a reliable assessment of the measurement conditions in advance, saving time and effort.
Outline Audio P-Series
Shown as a prototype at ISE2024, Outline’s P-Series of point-source speakers are now in production. The line includes six co-axial models, ranging from the 4” mid-woofer of P4, to the double 15” woofer of P30, most of them lineage from the earlier Vegas CX models. All are designed for short-to-medium throw (10 to 30 meters) real-world applications. New port designs reduction of airflow turbulence; all can be used in mono- or bi-amped operations and all sport integral carry handles and a stylish weave-patterned front grille.
Riedel Virtual Smartpanel
Riedel’s Virtual SmartPanel (VSP) software solution lets users leverage their Android or iOS mobile devices for remote intercom connections, for operational efficiency and accessibility across various production environments, in a virtual hybrid infrastructure that seamlessly integrates with the Artist-1024 platform. VSP’s user-centric design features customizable key banks and extensive profile management, for tailoring the communication setup to specific requirements and Riedel’s IT-secured, standards-based approach offers security with secure peer to peer connections via STUN and TURN servers and WebRTC-encrypted streams.
Voice-Acoustic Score-6
Voice-Acoustic expand its Score series with the introduction of the new Score-6 (2x 6.5”), closing the gap between the dual 5” Score-5 (2x 5’) and the Score-8 (2x 8”). Score-6 is a passive, time and phase optimized 2-way full-range point source speaker with 640W AES power handling. Besides its dual 6.5” drivers and 1” compression driver on a rotatable horn with optional 60°x40°, 90°x60° or 120°x40° dispersion. Mounting options include M8 and M6 flypoints, C and U mount accessories and a tiltable pole mount. White and special RAL colors are available.
Work Pro Expands WFS Speaker Line
Work Pro, the installation and pro audio division of Equipson, expands its WFS range with the IP66-rated, long-throw WFS 4 CX and WFS 6 CX outdoor projector speakers. Power rated at 150W, the WFS 4 CX combines a 1.5” comp driver with an 8” coaxial transducer to handle the entire vocal range. The WFS 6 CX also features a 1.5” comp driver, combined with a 12-inch coaxial transducer. The WFS 4 CX weighs 20 lbs; WFS 6 CX is 45 lbs. Both are available in a white fiberglass enclosure, and the standard black enclosure, and have 8-ohm and 70/100V connections.
