New at InfoComm 2025 is the hd BS10 portable battery-operated PA speaker from Harmonic Design Audiotechnik, which packs a 10” neodymium woofer and 1” neodymium HF driver for 126 dB max SPLs with 90° x 60° dispersion and a respectable 50 Hz – 20 kHz (-6 dB) frequency response.
The hd BS10 weighs just over 24 pounds (11 kg) including two hot-swappable, generic 18 VDC / 5 Ah batteries that provide up to nine hours of operation. AC mains operation is also possible. The built-in 8-input (two with switchable phantom power) digital mixer with 4-inch touchscreen features 96 kHz 32-bit FIR DSP with reverb and chorus available on inputs 1-6; EQ and dynamics on all input channels; and selectable pre/post mix DSP aux out.
A 12/15 VDC output can power a wireless receiver, while built-in hd SpaceAMP technology with 250W @ 4-ohms can drive Harmonic Design’s hd BS10P tops or subs.
