Focusrite unveiled new second-generation interfaces in its RedNet line featuring Dante audio-over-IP networking. Interoperable with any other Dante-compatible units, the new models provide power supply and network-redundancy, locking Ethernet connectors and compact 1U form factors. New are the MP8R 8-channel remote-controlled mic pre, D16R AES/EBU interface, HD32R HD Bridge for Pro Tools and D64R MADI bridge. For users not requiring the redundancy features, the original RedNet 4 remote mic pre, RedNet 5 Pro Tools bridge, RedNet 6 MADI Bridge and D16 AES models are available at lower price points.
