EAW’s new NTX210L powered line array

Building on its Radius line of loudspeakers, EAW’s NTX Series aims to deliver a high performance solution while cutting down long setup times. NTX Series couples unique and intelligent features with EAW’s signature acoustical design to deliver solutions for rental firms, production companies, and system integrators. The NTX articulated array features OptiLogic, providing automatic array self-detection and instant optimization including air loss compensation and more. Resolution 2™ software provides system optimization from anywhere in the venue.

The series’ flagship is the NTX210L, designed to support medium to large outdoor festivals, corporate events, houses of worship, performing arts centers, and theaters. Weighing in at 64 pounds, this powered two-way line array system pairs two 10” woofers with a 1.4” exit HF compression driver on an Isophasic Wave Guide, providing smooth 55 Hz –18k Hz coverage with 90° x 12° dispersion. Modified Class-D amplifiers (1,200 + 400 watts), onboard DSP, integrated 3-point rigging and both analog and Dante inputs complete the package.

Also standard is EAW’s Focusing™, which employs advanced digital signal processing to perfect the impulse response of a loudspeaker in the time domain. By eliminating horn “honk” and splashiness, the result is a speaker that sounds like a studio monitor instead of a “P.A.” speaker.

Patented Optilogic technology allows the NTX speakers to communicate with the loudspeakers around it to further maximize array performance. Array self-detection via onboard infrared sensors and accelerometers for near-instant optimization cuts down on setup and tuning time with comprehensive software that delivers system prediction, control and monitoring from any location in the venue.

EAW SBX Series: The Lowdown

The SBX Series is a high-output powered subwoofer system designed to support any system from RSX to ADAPTive Series products. The use of single- and dual-18” neodymium woofers with a 4” voice coils ensures the optimal sonic performance.

The single-18, 2,500-Watt SBX118

Engineered for both production and installation applications, the SBX Series models are equipped with a threaded pole mount and rugged handles, making for a perfect solution for small gigs to large concert systems. Integrated runners on the top and sides lock the subs together to resist movement due to vibration and provide a clean look. Support of ground stack operation of NTX can be accomplished with two sets of flybar locating pins, providing safe operation at any splay angle.

The SBX line includes the single-18, 2,500-Watt SBX118 (shown here) and the 5,000W, dual-18” SBX218 model.

With EAW’s proven performance in acoustic design and DSP, plus full Dante integration across the line, is designed to SBX deliver an intelligent, flexible system to fit most budgets.
