Dynacord’s new IX Series multichannel DSP networked power amplifiers will begin shipping to customers globally from early July. The availability of the amplifiers will be supported by an update to SONICUE Sound System Software to ensure compatibility with the family within the SONICUE ecosystem.

Engineered in Germany, the IX Series consists of five models tailored to industry-standard power specifications of 1,500, 3,000 and 6,000 watts across two 8-channel and three 4-channel configurations in a compact 1U form factor. Offering the same functionalities as Dynacord’s IPX flagship series, the IX power amplifier range is designed for sound system installations that require comparatively less output power.
Shipping globally from early July, the amplifier family is ideally suited for AV systems integrators, installers and consultants, meeting the diverse requirements and flexibility demanded by most small to mid-sized installation projects, such as office spaces, hospitality areas, educational facilities, performance centers, houses of worship, stadia and beyond, accommodating both centralized and decentralized sound system configurations. Furthermore, the IX Series ensures seamless integration with third-party platforms such as Crestron and Q-SYS via software plugins. Its attractive pricing and versatility further enhance its value, along with the ability to streamline system setups by eliminating the need for additional DSP devices, Dante break-in boxes, or separate system controllers.
Each IX model comes with eight (8-channel models) or four (4-channel models) high-quality mic/line inputs with switchable phantom power. Each of them can be utilized as Dante break-ins with redundancy and supervision. The Dante input/output channels include direct, mix and amplifier outputs, providing extensive routing options. The onboard DSP features high-resolution processing at 96 kHz, advanced DSP capabilities with input processing, a 16×16/12×12 channel matrix mixer, FIR-Drive, and Dynacord’s legendary studio-quality effects. Additionally, the IX Series integrates taskENGINE for system logic derived from the MXE5-64 open architecture DSP to facilitate system automation, scheduling and third-party integration.
Dynacord’s user-friendly SONICUE Sound System Software is also receiving an update to include full compatibility with the new IX Series amplifiers. SONICUE addresses the entire sound system and encapsulates Dynacord’s core design philosophies of simplicity, clarity and transparency. Its unique interactive design provides a clear and comprehensive system overview, making it quicker to set up, tune and operate sound systems with minimum effort. The new 1.5 version will be available to download from the Dynacord website. It enables the IX Series to seamlessly integrate with the sound system software and all members of the SONICUE ecosystem such as IPX, TGX, L- and C Series amplifier, as well as the MXE5-64 Matrix Mix Engine. It also offers full support of all peripherals, including the TPC-1 touch panel controller and the WPN1 wall panel controller, and any device using SONICUE Control panels (Windows or iOS).
