MANHEIM, PA – Clair Brothers announced the official launch of five new kiT Series speakers on April 21. With a total of three full range boxes and two subwoofers, the kiT12+, kiT15+, kiTCURVE12+, kiT-Sub+, and kiT-Sub-mini+ are the first self-powered speakers in the Clair Brothers line.

Overview:
The range includes three loudspeakers: kiT12+ (12″ two-way self powered), kiT15+ (15″ two-way self powered), and kiTCURVE12+ (12″ two-way self powered curved array). The line also includes two subwoofers: kiT-Sub+ (18″ single driver self powered sub/bass) and kiT-Sub-mini+ (18″ Single Driver Self Powered Sub/Bass).
The newest members of the loudspeaker family are the kiTCURVE12 and a pair of kiT-Subs. The kiTCURVE has its roots in the Clair Brothers CAT series from which it gets its Curved Array Technology waveguide. Additionally, the kiTCURVE features the rigging and portabliity features inherent to the kiT Series.
“Each new speaker is delineated with a plus sign in the product’s name indicating its self-powered nature,” comments Josh Sadd, Chief Design Engineer at Clair Brothers. Like their kiT Series predecessors, the kiT+ line products feature exceptional intelligibility, high output performance and durability, making them excellent choices for virtually any indoor or outdoor application.
The kiT Series features traditional Clair craftsmanship in wood enclosures and CNC machined wood waveguides, offering the same quality found in high-end, tour-grade products to users in smaller applications.

Tremendous versatility marks one of the benefits of the kiT Series line. Each speaker comes equipped with multifunctional kiT Series rigging corners and features common dimensions allowing for virtually limitless rigging and stacking possibilities.
What’s Inside
The kiT+ speakers are powered by an integrated 2 ch. 1600W each 3200W total power amplifier module that includes internal DSP loudspeaker processing: Xover, EQ and Limiter. The processing is factory programmed and provides the user with the choice between four presets that are specifically designed for various applications and array configurations. For subwoofer applications low-pass filter frequency may be set per application by integrated factory presets.
