At the 2025 InfoComm show, BASSBOSS is showcasing its newest speaker combination — the 10+ feet tall Stackatoa (Krakatoa on top + Makara-MK3 in the middle + Kraken-MK3 at the bottom) in regular demonstrations.
BASSBOSS’ strong range of products include subwoofers ranging in size from the mobile single-18″ woofer SSP118-MK3 and 21″ VS21-MK3s, to the larger dual-18″ SSP218-MK3s, 18″ ZV28-MK3s, to the biggest and baddest of the bunch: the dual-21″ Makara-MK3s and the quad-21″ Kraken-MK3s. These subs bring the heat, delivering clarity and power to low frequencies in a way that has to be experienced to be believed.
Just like the subwoofers, the company’s top cabinets range in mobility and capability, showcasing BASSBOSS’s high versatility and marketability to a variety of customers. At the top of the line sits the Krakatoa, a quintuple 18″ point-source full range top, delivering exhilarating clarity, powerful depth, sharp focus, and an effortless speed of response. Following this are the AT312-MK3, a triple 12″, and the AT212-MK3, a dual 12″ – both powered tops with extreme versatility and power. Of the more mobile models set to be shown are the DiaMon-MK3s, DV12-MK3s, and the CCM12-MK3s, all single 12″ powered tops. The CCM12-MK3s also double in design as monitors, with an array of presets designed to make positioning and tuning to specific positions easier than ever before.
BASSBOSS national sales manager Samia Scoda will be conducting the daily demos – with a deep knowledge of the BASSBOSS line from her six years as national sales manager, and an exceptional level of technical expertise, her presentations are both informative and insightful.
For a deep dive into the development and technological side, founder and designer David Lee will be on site to share his vision, presenting on the subjects of point-source vs line-array, smarter system design, and scalable system solutions, among other compelling subjects. Lee will also head additional education sessions with Research and Development Engineer Dr. Paul Mayer covering the new PredictBASS and ControlBASS software, which help map out acoustic spaces and manage speaker presets and firmware remotely.
