ORF Purchases Soundcraft Vi1 Consoles For Live Broadcasts

VIENNA, Austria – Österreichischer Rundfunk, the Austrian national public service broadcaster, has added a pair of Harman's Soundcraft Vi1 digital consoles to its inventory. The order was placed with Soundcraft's Austrian distributor Kain Audio by Landesstudio Tirol, one of nine regional studios operating under the ORF umbrella, after carrying out extensive tests against other brands. These will be used for live broadcasting, FOH mixing and recording purposes in the Innsbruck/Tyrol region.

KINGSTON, RI – North American Theatrix (NAT) determined that Ryan Center, a $54 million, 7,500+ seat multi-purpose arena built in 2002 at the University of Rhode Island, could cost-effectively improve its sound using QSC's Wideline-8 Line Array technology along with QSC ADS52T speakers for the concourse zones, QSC CX series amplifiers, and QSC Q-SYS DSP and Control, with the goal of creating a redundant environment.

Parni Valjak Reunion Concerts Supported by RCF TT+ System

BELGRADE, Serbia – Parni Valjak, founded in 1975 in the former Yugoslavia, capped a tour of Croatia with performances before 44,000 fans attending two shows at the Belgrade Arena in neighboring Serbia. Three different rental companies provided audio gear – Promologistika from Croatia, BBA Agregati from Montenegro and Track-Copy from Hungary. All provided TTL55A loudspeakers and TTS56A subwoofers from RCF.
