American Theatre Wing Announces Tony Nominees for 2011

NEW YORK – The American Theatre Wing announced the nominees for the 2011 Tony Awards, to be televised June 12. The nominees for Best Sound Design of a Play include Acme Sound Partners and Cricket S. Myers for Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo; Simon Baker for Brief Encounter; Ian Dickinson/Autograph for Jerusalem; and Christopher Shutt for War Horse. The nominees for Best Sound Design of a Musical include Peter Hylenski for The Scottsboro Boys;  Steve Canyon Kennedy for Catch Me If You Can; Brian Ronan for Anything Goes and Brian Ronan (again) for The Book of Mormon.
