LONDON – DPA Microphones’ d:facto vocal microphones are being used at more of the live music venues here, including, recently, The Union Chapel in Islington and the Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street in London’s SoHo. At the 900-capacity Union Chapel, head technician Les Mommsen credited the microphone for its “natural and detailed” sound. At the smaller Pizza Express Jazz Club, Luc Saint-Martin of Oneland Productions appreciated its “versatile, modular design.”
