LONDON — For an audio upgrade at PizzaExpress Jazz Club, Chris Austin of Autograph Sales & Installations turned to Meyer Sound components including UPJunior-XP VariO loudspeakers and one-each MM-10XP and UMS-1XP subwoofers. Three MM-4XPD self-powered loudspeakers provide front fill, and two MM-4XP and UP-4XP loudspeakers each cover the bar and alcove areas. All loudspeakers employ IntelligentDC technology.

BUCHAREST, Romania and NANNING, China — A pyro-sparked fire and limited egress turned a 400-capacity nightclub into a deathtrap in Bucharest, Romania. Goodbye to Gravity band members were among the 60 killed and scores injured.
