LEXINGTON, KY — “Big Bertha,” a massive cluster-speaker system used for the past 40 years at Rupp Arena, home court to the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, recently retired. The arena now has the largest L-Acoustics K2 sound system ever used as a fixed installation. It also brings tour-level audio that lets the venue accommodate more events, such as concerts, using its own sound. Cincinnatti’s Loud & Clear handled the installation.

NASHVILLE – Sennheiser recently powered the cross-genre collaboration with Beyoncé and Dixie Chicks during the 50th CMA Awards. The occasion marked Beyoncé’s first appearance on the CMA Award stage, featuring audio from Sennheiser’s flagship Digital 9000 wireless system.
