NBC’s “The Sing-Off” Finale Heard Via All-Shure Wireless

NEW YORK – For the two-hour live broadcast of the finale for NBC's The Sing-Off on Dec. 20, a competition between a cappella singing groups, Soundtronics Wireless supplied over 40 channels of handheld UHF-R Wireless systems, including 28 handheld transmitters with KSM9 mic capsules and another 14 channels with SM58 heads.

Blues Traveler Crew Uses DiGiCo SD8, RME MADIFace Card to Record Live Shows Nightly

NEW YORK – Blues Traveler has performed more than 2,000 live shows in front of more than three million people in the last 23 years. After experimenting with different ways to preserve live shows on disc for the band's fans, FOH engineer Adam Fortin, who's been with the band since 2006, is now using a DiGiCo SD8 equipped with an RME MADIFace 56-track interface to multitrack 34 channels straight to a MacBook Pro with an Express port.
