Traveling Production of “Cheaper To Keep Her” Happily Wed to D.A.S. System

NASHVILLE, TN – Cheaper to Keep Her, Je'Caryous Johnson's traveling R&B musical starring Vivica A. Fox and Brian McKnight, chronicles the woes of a man who is about to lose everything to his soon-to-be ex. To support the show, Jet Productions owner Titus Cunningham has far fewer misgivings about the commitment he made to Aero gear from D.A.S. Audio, according to Prosonic AVL owner Edward Hobby, who sold him the gear.

SAN DIEGO – For their recent North and South American tour legs, The Pixies took along a sound system supplied by LMG Audio Systems with new Lake processing at its heart. Craig Mitchell, account executive for touring sales at LMG, credited the three Lake LM 26 Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processors for "flexibility and audio quality," and also noted ease of rigging as well.

LONDON – The first Midas PRO3 live audio system to roll off the production line has been sold to the Rambert Dance Company as its touring console. The PRO3 replaces the company's Midas H1000 – also, as it turns out, the first in production. The sale was made by LMC Audio's sales manager JP Cavaco.

MIAMI – Jason Derulo recently completed the first leg of his North American tour supported by monitor engineer Billy Flores, who has also worked with Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, Erykah Badu and Taio Cruz. Flores mixed monitors on using a Yamaha PM5D.

PHOENIX – Nearly 10 years ago, Xavier College Preparatory High School invested in a new, 1,000-seat auditorium for musical productions, assemblies, concerts and fundraisers. Since the beginning, the all-female Catholic high school has relied on Sennheiser for the auditorium's wireless audio infrastructure.
