AUSTIN, TX – David Hough, the longtime audio director of Austin City Limits, has seen a lot of changes in the production of the PBS concert series, now in its 37th season, including the move to a new performance venue. The show, originally taped at Studio 6A at KLRU, has moved to ACL Live at the Moody Theater. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is the show's reliance on Shure mics.

The new location, the 10th location for the company, was opened in response to demand for the company's products in Eastern Europe, including Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. AJP Design for Lambeau Field Makes Use of Danley Genesis Horns

GREEN BAY, WI – Faced with the challenge of retaining intelligibility while also throwing sound long distances at Lambeau Field, home of the NFL's Green Bay Packers, Anthony James Partners (AJP) opted against the previous setup, which made use of a single cluster of loudspeakers positioned at the scoreboard on the north end of the bowl. Instead, AJP designed a distributed system with 16 enclosures placed on top of the enclosed suites, located around the perimeter of the field. Each of the enclosures contains a Danley GH-60 Genesis Horn and a Danley TH-118 subwoofer. Pro Media Ultrasound, the install firm, provided the custom outdoor enclosures for the Danley gear.

Audiopro Provides Meyer Sound Gear for Buddha-Bar in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY – Meyer Sound dealer Audiopro of Mexico City provided and installed Meyer Sound gear at a recently-opened Buddha-Bar chain restaurant/lounge location here. The setup includes 15 UP-4XP loudspeakers in stereo zones in the lounge area, with bass support from five M1D-Sub subwoofers. The system also includes 24 MM-4XP augmented by nine MM-10 miniature subwoofers in the terrace area.
