TORONTO – Fourteen-inch-thick plaster walls posted a dual challenge for Westbury National Show Systems, Ltd.’s Brock McGinnis, who was tasked with updating the sound system at Toronto’s National Club: Along with the inability to run cable through the historically-significant walls, “it’s very much like having dinner in the middle of a cathedral,” McGinnis noted, of the reverberant acoustics within the 200-capacity, 1,950-square-foot Main Dining Room.
