LONDON — When members of Dire Straits got back together for a one-off charity event at the Albert Hall, sound engineer Matthew Manasse was asked to look after the front of house mix. Manasse, who previously worked with keyboard player Alan Clark and the band’s original engineer, Robert Collins, also supported the band when it subsequently toured Europe, conducting mixing duties on a Soundcraft Vi1.

Cosmic Electronics Revamps Sound System at Jalouse with RCF Gear

LONDON — Moruf Yoozooph and Freddie Achom, owners of the three-year-old Jalouse membership nightclub on London’s West End, contracted with Cosmic Electronics to revamp the sound system and re-position the DJ console. Cosmic Electronics MD, Keith Damon, who managed the project, opted for a setup that included RCF gear. Two pairs of C5215Ws now work together with the club’s existing subwoofers, surrounding club patrons with an immersive experience.

A pair of Renkus-Heinz IC7 mechanically steered columns are installed in the choir loft as monitors.
