LONDON — Canadian metal multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Devin Townsend presented “The Retinal Circus” (named after an old Vancouver club in the 1960s, famous for psychedelic rock shows) in London’s 3,300-capacity Roundhouse on Oct. 27. LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The Opéra de Lausanne, which reopened after a five-years renovation Oct. 5, presented a new production of The Elixir of Love by Gaetano Donizetti. The renovated venue features an Adamson Metrix system controlled and amplified by Lab.gruppen PLM10000Q. The L-R arrays each include three Metrix 5-degree boxes for the main floor level, one Metrix subwoofer for low-end reinforcement and two carefully aimed Metrix 5 degree boxes to cover the balconies. ARLINGTON, TX — Fielder Road Baptist Church, based here, has advanced AV systems along with an auditorium that seats 3,800. The church also holds two worship services each Sunday in the auditorium of a middle school in an area of Arlington with a large Hispanic population. One service is in English, the other in Spanish.
