PHILADELPHIA — For SoundGarden Hall, a 2,100-capacity live event space that opened this fall, Ian Hoffer of Aurora Sound and Light Design LLC handled the design and installation of the audio system as well as lighting gear. Hoffer and the club’s management opted for Meyer Sound’s UPJ-1P VariO loudspeakers, which they had used previously for another club in town, Rumor.

WEIMAR, Germany — The Deutsches Nationaltheater here has complemented its purchase of a new Studer Vista 8 console with a TiMax2 SoundHub-R32 system matrix and playback server, replacing an old analog Studer and legacy TiMax Classic matrix which had been in daily use for the past 10 years.  The new TiMax SoundHub system was purchased from distributor Pro Audio Technik following on-site demos by the company’s TiMax technical sales specialist Matthias Ziegenberger.
