University of Louisville Football Stadium Equipped with Meyer Sound LEO System

LOUISVILLE, KY — To upgrade the visitor experience for 55,000-capacity Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium at University of Louisville here, longtime (and recently retired) stadium manager K.C. Scull opted for Meyer Sound’s LEO linear large-scale sound reinforcement system with the 1100-LFC low-frequency control element and SB-3F sound field synthesis loudspeakers. Dallas-based WJHW designed the system, installed in two phases by Parsons Electric and Pro Sound & Video.

They installed a 140-element Martin Audio OmniLine, meeting the goal of having the system operational in time for a visit by Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince George as part of their tour of Australia and New Zealand earlier this year.

RENO, NV – The Whitney Peak Hotel may be the only non-smoking, non-gambling hotel in town, but that’s not the only way that its owners are striving to set it apart from its competitors. In a bid to draw big-name artists to the concert venue, Cargo, they installed a sound system centering on EAW KF740 line arrays.
