TUSCALOOSA, AL – For 100,000+ seat Bryant-Denny Stadium here, home of the University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide football team, design and installation firm Baker Audio Visual (Norcross, GA) installed Danley’s new weatherproof OS-80 loudspeakers and OS-115 subwoofers in the upper bowl and Danley’s seasoned SH-96HO loudspeakers (with additional OS-80 loudspeakers for down fill) in the lower bowl to complement the single Danley GH-60 Genesis Horn paired with a single Danley TH-212 subwoofer that had already been serving as the on-field PA system.

CMA Awards Microphone Arsenal Includes Audio-Technica Gear

NASHVILLE – For the 48th annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, held at Bridgestone Arena here Nov. 5, ATK-Audiotek made use of more than 150 Audio-Technica microphones for artists including Cole Swindell, pictured here. The event was broadcast in 5.1 channel surround sound on ABC. Audio-Technica noted that 2014 was the  21st consecutive year its gear has been used for the event.

SHANGHAI, China — At the 10th annual JZ Festival here, with an opening gala performance by Pat Metheny Unity Group followed by two days featuring multiple acts Oct. 18-19, 2014 including Bootsy Collins & the Funk Unity Band, Snarky Puppy and Marcus Miller, among others, the multi-stage setup included new KH8 and KS8 touring loudspeakers from K-array. LAS VEGAS — Solotech provided L-Acoustics’ K1 loudspeakers to a quick succession of major festival events staged in Las Vegas from late September to late October, including the Boulevard Brew Fest, the Route 91 Harvest Festival (pictured here), the Wine Amplified festival and the iHeart Radio festival. The speaker systems centered on 16 K1 and 3 KARA and eight K1-SB flown per side.
