MANCHESTER, UK – The HOME organization’s new performing and visual arts complex is set to open this winter. In the meantime, its recent production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, was staged in Manchester’s historic Victorian swimming baths. This performance was also the maiden voyage for HOME’s new Solid State Logic Live. L500 console. FORT SASKATCHEWAN, Alberta, Canada – Norah Seed, the in-house audio operator for Shell Theatre, has been using the venue’s recently-acquired Soundcraft Vi6 digital console to mix live audio for performances at the 538-seat performing arts space including dance recitals, musicals and Christmas productions. PATCHOGUE, NY — Steve Jaworowski, pictured here, recently acquired a Soundcraft Si Expression 1 digital console for his classic rock band Vavoom and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers tribute band Breakdown, both of which play in nightclubs and pubs throughout Long Island. Of his first Soundcraft console, Jaworowski says the console, his first from Soundcraft, has fit his budget and exceeded his expectations. He credits the move to the digital side for lightening the load the bands faced while traveling with analog consoles and related gear.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Sven Pro Sound (SPS) recently completed a major audio upgrade at Eastbrook Church. Four different small to large venues within the church were upgraded with a wide variety of products. The largest venue upgraded was the church’s main worship hall. SPS designed a dynamic sound system that included d&b audiotechnik’s Q-series speakers and D12 amplifiers. SPS also made use of d&b’s ArrayCalc modeling program.
