Bastille Day Concerts near Eiffel Tower Mixed on Lawo mc²36 Consoles

PARIS – Hervé de Caro, Lawo’s Live Sound Specialist, noted that two of the company’s mc²36 desks were used at the foot of the Eiffel Tower for a Bastille Day concert on July 14, 2015. The Lawo consoles, which worked in tandem with an additional Yamaha console connected via MADI, were used for the audio mix for the National Orchestra of France and the Radio France Choir. The setup was arranged so that one Lawo desk was dedicated to the 250 orchestra musicians and the other to the various choral voices. All consoles were networked to optimize shared resources.
