PARIS – Bellator MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) had to dramatically scale back the number of people in the audience within 20,300-capacity Accor Hotel Arena. The RCF TT system serving as the venue’s P.A. was scaled down as well, but it still provided plenty of power for the 1,000 socially-distanced MMA fans within the huge arena.

NAMM TEC Awards’ TECnology Hall of Fame to Induct Don Keele, Four Others

CARLSBAD, CA – NAMM has announced five inductees to the 2021 TECnology Hall of Fame. They include Constant Directivity horn inventor Don Keele, Ed Long, inventor of the first Near-Field studio monitor in 1977, and three groundbreaking products: Western Electric’s 1938 639A ribbon/dynamic microphone; RCA’s 1957 Mark II Sound Synthesizer (the first programmable music synth); and 3M’s 1968 M56 16 track recorder.
