LONDON — Wigwam Acoustics has taken delivery of five brand new Midas VeniceF “digilog” consoles with FireWire interface for the festival season. One of the VeniceF's has been supplied to Coldplay, providing audio splits for recording throughout their summer festival run. Two of the consoles are being used at the Hampton Court Festival and another two at the Isle of Wight, both in June.

LONDON — U.K. vocalist Clare Maguire recently completed a tour of the U.K. carrying a dual Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing system to manage FOH and monitors. Partly rented from PA company SRD Group, the system included an iLive-80 Control Surface and an iDR0 miniRack at FOH, digitally split from an iDR-48 MixRack and an iLive-R72 Control Surface at monitor position.

BRIGHTON, U.K. — The foyer and bar area immediately adjacent to the main concert hall at Brighton Dome situated on the south coast of England features a light airy atmosphere created by a roof of glass. The Dome's management opted to make the area an integral part of the entertainment complex by installing a PA system, which debuted during events related to the Brighton Festival, which ran from May 7-29, 2011.

DAEGU, South Korea – With a seating capacity of 66,000, Daegu Stadium is the largest stadium in South Korea. The stadium is striking in appearance, with a roof that combines design elements of traditional Korean houses with Teflon panels stretched across steel framing that provide protection from the elements while letting natural lighting into the stands.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Atea Audio Visuell Kommunikation (AVK) of Sweden installed a complete digital Harman AKG DMS 700 wireless system in one of Sweden’s largest education facilities, Stockholm University.  The project involved 12 halls ranging in total seating capacity from 130 to 586, which had previously been connected with outdated analog wireless capabilities.
