Yamaha Training Seminars Heading to Redmond, WA

REDMOND, WA – YCATS (Yamaha Commercial Audio Training Seminars) training sessions will take place at Overland Christian Church Nov. 8-10 from 8am to 5pm each day. The classes include advanced instruction for users of Yamaha's M7CL digital console; a workshop for the LS9 digital console; a digital network and systems design clinic; and a showcase of NEXO speaker technology (GEO Series, PS Series, 45N12, RS Series Subs, GeoSUB, and NXAMP). The seminars are open to all audio professionals and free of charge.

Chicago White Sox Ball Park Upgrades with New Shure Wireless Systems

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox baseball organization, based at Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field, installed Shure's PSM900 Wireless Personal Monitor and UHF-R Wireless Microphone Systems for the 2011 season, upgrading from Shure's PSM700. The new gear helped the baseball organization avoid running afoul of new FCC regulations on permissible spectrum band frequencies.
