CMA Awards Show Supported by Audio-Technica, Sennheiser and Shure Microphones

NASHVILLE — ATK Audiotek and Music Mix Mobile supported the 46th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, which was broadcast live on ABC from the Bridgestone Arena here Nov. 1. The crew included producers Tom Davis and Paul Sandweiss, FOH engineers Patrick Baltzell and Rick Shimer and monitor engineers Tom Pesa and Jason Spence, with M3’s John Harris and Jay Vicari handling the broadcast music mix. They relied upon microphones and wireless gear provided by Audio-Technica, Sennheiser and Shure.

PORTLAND, OR — Horne Audio, Inc. provided a Harman Soundcraft Si Compact 16 digital mixing console for a steampunk-themed event dubbed “The Music Experience.” Intel and MTV Iggy hosted the event, which took place on the Sternwheeler steamboat and featured performances by bands The Jezabels and Y La Bamba as the vessel cruised the Willamette River for hundreds of revelers dressed in “steampunk”-themed costumes.
