ATK Audiotek Provides JBL Loudspeakers for 55th Grammy Awards

LOS ANGELES — ATK Audiotek supported the 55th Grammy Awards, held in Staples Center here Feb. 10, with a sound system centered on JBL loudspeakers. The L-R setup started with12 VTX V25 fullsize line array elements per side for the main PA, with additional left-right columns of 12 V25 per side for out fill, along with a center cluster of 18 VTX S28 arrayable subwoofers in cardioid mode (two arrays of nine S28 subs each), for a total of 66 VTX loudspeakers. Six VRX932 Constant Curvature loudspeakers served as front fill, with left-right rear delay arrays of eight VerTec VT4889 fullsize line array elements each. Crown amplifiers powered the speakers.

Presidential Inauguration Events Supported by K-array Loudspeakers

WASHINGTON, DC — As is typical, President Obama’s second inauguration in late January was accompanied by a wide variety of private parties and other celebratory events.  All Stage & Sound, Inc., Laytonsville, MD, which supported activities held at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, the United States Institute of Peace, The Italian Embassy, Cafe Milano and elsewhere, relied upon K-array gear, which is distributed by Sennheiser.
