In Memoriam: Eric Robinson, 67

PORT DOUGLAS, Australia — Eric Robinson, longtime CEO of JPJ Audio and co-owner of Jands in Australia, died Nov. 11 after a bout with cancer. He was 67. Credited as both a risk-taking innovator and tough but shrewd and determined dealmaker, he retired earlier this year.

NASHVILLE — For the 49th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, staged at Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 4, an arsenal of more than 150 Audio-Technica microphones played a key role in the overall audio production for the event, which was broadcast live on ABC.
