SARATOGA, NY – To support the audio needs of the 40th Annual Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival, held at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on June 24 and 25, Audio Inc. of Roselle Park, NJ supplied a Yamaha Rivage PM10 digital audio console for the main stage and two Yamaha M7CLs for the Gazebo stage. Shure Names Mark Humrichouser VP of Sales in Americas, Asia/Pacific Regions

NILES, IL – Shure Inc. named Mark Humrichouser vice president of the company’s sales organizations in the Americas and Asia/Pacific regions. In his new role, Humrichouser leads the sales, marketing, customer training and education, customer service and product technical support functions for these regions. Prior to this appointment, Humrichouser served as vice president and general manager of the company’s Americas business unit. His other positions at Shure were general manager of the U.S. business unit and director of U.S. sales. He joined Shure in 2006 after nine years with Sennheiser USA.

RCF Provides Gear for Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest

NEW YORK – For the annual Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest at the original Nathan’s Famous location in Brooklyn’s Coney Island neighborhood, ESPN covered the event and handled the audio for TV viewers, and for the live crowds attending, RCF gear provided sound reinforcement for the event’s proceedings. The setup included three towers of RCF HDL50-A line arrays, a pair of TTL6-A line source cabinets for infield coverage in front of the stage and HDL20-A line arrays for attendees farther from the stage. In addition, RCF NX12-SMA lined the stage and were used for monitor purposes.
