Grand Ole Opry Upgrades to Yamaha Rivage PM10 at Monitors

NASHVILLE – For 10 years, a Yamaha PM1D console handled the mix at monitors position for the Grand Ole Opry. This year, the iconic venue, Tennessee’s number one tourist attraction, upgraded to Yamaha’s Rivage PM10. Clair Solutions in Nashville was the console provider. Staff monitor mixer, Bob Bussiere, is taking full advantage of the console’s functionality, using, for example, Rupert Neve Designs SILK on every input.

Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour Mixed on DiGiCo SD7 Consoles at FOH, Monitors

SACRAMENTO, CA – Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour launched with a European/U.K. tour leg that ran from late March to mid-June 2017, and starting with a July 15 show in Las Vegas, the artist and his band and crew are trekking through North America until late November, when they head to South America. Chris Rabold and Ramon Morales are using DiGiCo SD7 consoles at FOH and monitors.

Crazy?

Have the Gods gone crazy? Is there something in the air we breathe or the water we drink — or is it just entropy? Recently we lost Chris Cornell to suicide; 22 people were killed when a bomb was set off at an Ariana Grande concert and, before that, in 2015, suicide bombers killed 89 people while they were attending a show at the Bataclan Concert Hall in Paris. In New York City, a crazed motorist jumps the curb in Times Square and drives along the sidewalk, attempting to kill and maim as many people as possible. Three more so-called terrorists attempted the same maneuver on the London Bridge and then jumped from their van and attempted to stab as many people as possible, killing eight.
