In Memoriam: Carey Stewart Kress, 58

Carey Stewart Kress, 58, died at home April 15, 2009 after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. After enjoying a performance career in the 1970s and 1980s as a musician/lead singer for the rock band, Face Dancer, Kress developed an extensive Mid-Atlantic territory as a manufacturers rep. He worked in the professional audio industry for more than two decades and served as a rep for Sigmet Corp. for 10 years.

The DMI-8, an eight-channel version of the digital microphone interface, is now available from Neumann, which is designed to simplify setup for studio or live PA systems.
