Meyer Sound Loudspeakers Debut At MADE

BERLIN, Germany – Meyer Sound’s MM-4XP miniature loudspeakers debuted at an arts facility called MADE. Located on the ninth floor of a high-rise building in downtown Berlin, the 400 square-meter space is designed for artists to exhibit interdisciplinary projects and can be divided into five separate areas for various functions, including music performances.

Community M-Class Monitors Tour with YOSO

Stage 2 Productions Uses iLive for Grassroots Festival, Other Shows

JERSEY, PA – Stage 2 Productions, which manages production of the annual Jersey festival, Grassroots, used Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing consoles throughout the site, including iDR10, iDR-48 and iDR-32 MixRacks with iLive-176, iLive-T112 and iLive-R72 control surfaces. The artist lineup for the festival included Arrested Development, Easy Star All-stars, Ben Howard and Seasick Steve.

Meyer Sound Tours With Slightly Stoopid

BERKELEY, CA – Meyer Sound's MILO loudspeakers toured the U.S. with Slightly Stoopid for the band's Seedless Summer Tour. Rainbow Production Services from Hampstead, NH provided the system. The setup included 24 MILO line array loudspeakers and 18 700-HP subwoofers for front of house, with two MICA line array loudspeakers over one 700-HP per side for side fills. Six UPJ-1P VariO loudspeakers were used for front-fill, six MJF-212A stage monitors and one more 700-HP subwoofer for drums.

PLASA Returns with New Gear Focus

LONDON – PLASA 2011 got underway Sept. 11 with its perennial focus on the latest new gear. Highlights included Midas' PRO2/PRO2C, Lake's LM 44 digital audio system processor and Lab.gruppen's E Series amplifiers. Also drawing interest were Outline's GTO-DF, JoeCo's BlackBox BBR64-MADI Recorder and Allen & Heath's Waves SoundGrid interface for iLive, among many other new gear offerings.
