Life Pentecostal Church Expands with Danley Speakers

JOLIET, IL – Terry McCarthy, partner and systems specialist with Chicago-based Advanced Systems & Technologies (AST), helped Life Church of Rock Run enhance audio coverage with additional Danley components. Complementing the church’s existing Danley SH-60 and SH-DFA components, AST added two Danley SH-mini loudspeakers for fill, four Danley SM-100M loudspeakers for on-stage monitors, and two  Danley TH-115 subwoofers.

AMSTERDAM  – Paradiso, a well-known live music venue, recently upgraded their sound reinforcement system with an Adamson Energia PA system. Marian Emmen, head of technology and production for the club, worked with principal sound engineer Dick Versteegh on the upgrade. They also got an assist from Adamson’s director of European operations, Jochen Sommer, and also from Ed De Bree, owner of Adamson’s distributor, Sound & Light Import.

Twin Jubilee Auditoriums Install Similar Meyer Sound Lyon Systems

EDMONTON and CALGARY, Canada – Two nearly identical 2,538-seat venues have become the first theatres in Canada to be equipped with Meyer Sound LYON linear sound reinforcement systems: Edmonton’s Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium (NAJA) and Calgary’s Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium (SAJA). Paul Schmitz and Mark Belkie, technical coordinators for audio at NAJA and SAJA, respectively, agreed upon the LYON systems as they looked to upgrade from the older Meyer Sound M2D line array loudspeakers in both venues.

57th Annual Grammy Awards Rely on JBL VerTec Line Arrays, 7 Series Studio Monitors

LOS ANGELES, CA – For the’s 57th Annual Grammy Awards, JBL loudspeakers were once again a major part of the live sound and broadcast elements of the event.
