QSC Announces 2.1 Upgrade for TouchMix Mixers

A firmware upgrade for the TouchMix-8 and TouchMix-16 digital mixers retains all the features and performance, while including critical updates to improve mixer stability and Wi-Fi connectivity, and providing powerful new capabilities. New functions include built-in info and screens in a choice of six languages, support for MIDI-over-USB footswitches, more flexible scene recall functions and the ability to use aux mixes as subgroups. All updates are supported in the new (free) TouchMix 2.1 iOS app for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

“On the Town” Using Aurus Console with Nexus and Nexus Star Routers

Neil Diamond Touring with JBL VTX V25-II Line Arrays

LOS ANGELES — Neil Diamond is back on the road, with an assist from Parnelli award-winning sound engineer Stanley Miller. The current tour is the first to make use of Harman’s new JBL Professional VTX V25-II line array loudspeakers, provided by Sound Image. The show setup also includes Crown I-Tech HD amplifiers and AKG mics. Miller, who has supported Diamond’s shows for 45 years, said the current setup provides “the best sound we’ve ever had.”
