SAN FRANCISCO – The new restaurant, Cala, is chef-owner Gabriela Cámara’s first U.S. restaurant. Among San Francisco’s most highly anticipated restaurant openings of the year, Cala is also one of the first new restaurant projects to address sound design as a key component of a new build. The new Civic Center neighborhood restaurant is the first in San Francisco to feature Meyer Sound Constellation and Libra acoustic systems, implemented to combine ease of conversation and a desired level of “buzz.”

TORONTO – More than 35,000 people descended upon the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre Aug. 1-3 to experience the 2015 OVO (October’s Very Own) Fest. Eighth Day Sound, headquartered in Highland Heights, Ohio, was on hand to deploy an Adamson sound reinforcement system for the event. The main PA consisted of left-right hangs made up of 18 Adamson E15 and three Adamson E12 line array enclosures, with sidefill arrays made up of 12 E15 and three E12 enclosures.
