D.A.S. Audio Deployed at The Stage In Miami

MIAMI – The Stage, a performance venue that opened Jan. 7, offers music ranging from R&B to jazz to pop/rock and even some New Age. Interface Sound designed and installed the sound system in the space, which had been converted from warehouse space, for the three bands per night that perform, opting for a system based on D.A.S. Audio gear.

ASPEN, CO – Founded in 1991, the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival has grown to become one of Colorado's most popular outdoor music festivals. The recent 2010 event in Snowmass Town Park hosted a wide variety of artists including Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Black Crowes, Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Wilco and other acts. The 3-day festival attracted more than 35,000 fans each day.

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC – With 13 campuses in three states, Seacoast Church welcomes about 8,000 worshippers each week. For the church's original campus, led by founding Pastor Greg Surratt, Seacoast was advised by another AV design firm to get line arrays. The church got a second opinion, and acted on it. It's now equipped with a cross-matrixed LCR system comprised of Danley Sound Labs loudspeakers and subwoofers.

MEMPHIS, TN – World Overcomers Outreach Ministries Church recently installed an Allen & Heath iLive-T system that includes two T112 control surfaces and an iDR-48 MixRack. It fulfilled the need, in the view of Andre Monie, director of sound & audio for the church, to move from analog to digital mixing consoles.

NEW YORK – The 111-year-old Victory Theater, one of seven historic theaters adopted by The New 42nd St. Inc., underwent a $11.4 million renovation in 1995 and now offers family-oriented shows with ticket prices in the $9 to $38 range. ANTWERP, Belgium – Martin Audio's new Multi-Cellular Loudspeaker Array (MLA) system appears to be holding some promise for Belgian festival promoters and production companies who are concerned with proposed 100dB LAeq (15) and 116dB (C) maximum limits in public areas.

CHICAGO – Chicago State University (CSU) hired concert sound provider and systems integrator Sound Of Authority to install an L-Acoustics KUDO loudspeaker system into its Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center, a 5,500-seat multipurpose arena that hosts CSU Cougars basketball games, concerts, conferences and other events.
