PORTLAND — Earth, Wind & Fire originally formed more than 40 years ago, in 1971. Three of the original band members, Philip Bailey, Verdine White, and Ralph Johnson, three of the original members of EWF, continue to tour the world along with 10 other performers in support of their 21st album, Now, Then, Forever, released last fall. New, custom in-ear monitors from 1964 Ears, based here, are meeting the band’s on-stage monitoring needs.

PASADENA, CA — The 125th Rose Parade on Jan. 1 featured floral floats, marching bands, and equestrian units along a 5.5 mile route here.
