PHILADELPHIA — Lorde’s sold-out show on March 8 at the 3,119-seat Tower Theater in Philadelphia was the fifth stop on the Grammy-winning artist’s month-long first tour of the U.S. It also marked the first time L-Acoustics’ K2 line array system supported an artist’s performance in the city. LONDON — Britannia Row Productions once again chose Turbosound’s Flashline line array speaker system in January this year for the annual tour of Young Voices, which featured a full band and a choir of several thousand primary school pupils performing at major arenas throughout the U.K. The setup included Flashline TFS-900H, Flex Array and TQ-440SP enclosures and TFS-900L subwoofers.

SYDNEY — Eternity Playhouse, the new home for the Darlington Theatre Company, is housed within the renovated Burton Street Tabernacle. The theatre company opted to install gear from JBL’s VP (Venue Performance) Series to optimize the sound within the space. The venue has also been equipped with a Soundcraft Si Expression 2 digital mixer for FOH mixing. Jands’ account manager Rod McKinnon led Jands’ technical resource team on the project.
