Allen & Heath featured its Qu-32 at Infocomm. The Qu-32 is a 32 fader, 38 in / 28 out digital mixer. It joins the company’s rackmount Qu-16 and compact Qu-24 mixers. Qu-32 shares key Qu series features including total recall of settings (including faders and digitally controlled preamps), Qu-Drive integrated multi-track recorder, dSNAKE for remote I/O and personal monitoring, multi-channel USB streaming, Qu-Pad control app, and the iLive FX Library. It comes with a large 7” touchscreen and 33 motorized faders.

Delicate Productions, Sound Image and CTS Audio have provided V20 systems for, respectively, the BottleRock Napa Valley Festival (pictured here), performances by Crosby Stills and Nash, and the 2014 K-Love Fan Awards honoring artists in the Christian music genre at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House.

Parking Lot Shooting Leads to Lockdown Outside Red Rocks

MORRISON, CO — A police search following a parking lot shooting incident that injured three members of rapper Schoolboy Q’s entourage led to a lockdown of all roads leading to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre here late on June 19 while police tried to find the shooter. Although Schoolboy Q had been in the car at the time of the shooting, he was uninjured. The shooting occurred at about 10:30, as the concert featuring Nas and Lotus along with Schoolboy Q came to and end. The shooter remained at large despite a roadblock and car-by-car search of exiting concertgoers that continued until about 3 a.m.
