ST. FRANCIS, KANSAS – St. Francis High School’s gymnasium hosts a variety of events including district-wide sports tournaments, town meetings, and local entertainment. Its flexible sound system — installed last October by Colorado and Kansas-based DK Audio Video (DKAV) — has Powersoft X- Series amplifiers at its foundation and is now the pride of the local community.

BACKNANG, Germany — Ardian, a privately-held investment company, is joining forces with d&b audiotechnik GmbH’s current management team to buy the pro audio company from its current owners, investment companies Odewald & Compagnie and COBEPA. d&b audiotechnik is the 13th company purchased by Ardian LBO Fund V, which is capitalized at €2.8 billion. Eagles of Death Metal “Nos Amis” Tour in Europe Cut Short by Jesse Hughes’ Finger Injury

PARIS — The Eagles of Death Metal were able to return to Paris for a Feb. 16 concert performance at the Olympia music venue — free to survivors of the terrorist attack at the Bataclan on Nov. 13, 2015. But their 23-date “Nos Amis” tour of Europe, planned from Feb. 13 to early March, was cut short after singer and guitarist Jesse Hughes sustained a torn tendon in his finger.

NASHVILLE — Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God Tour made its annual trek in Dec. 2015, with a tour-capping show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Dec. 13. Sound engineer Nolan Rossi, pictured here, used Roland’s M-5000 digital mixing console to manage both the FOH and monitor mixes for the show production, which involved 11 musicians and vocalists performing nightly in a variety of church and theatrical settings.
