BACKNANG, Germany — Ardian, a privately-held investment company, is joining forces with d&b audiotechnik GmbH’s current management team to buy the pro audio company from its current owners, investment companies Odewald & Compagnie and COBEPA. d&b audiotechnik is the 13th company purchased by Ardian LBO Fund V, which is capitalized at €2.8 billion. Yamaha announced that Steinberg Nuendo Live DAW software is being bundled with Yamaha QL and TF series consoles, providing users with advanced multitrack recording and virtual soundcheck capabilities. Previously available only stand alone, or included with the company’s CL series digital mixing consoles, Nuendo Live is now integrated across all three console series, thanks to a collaboration between Yamaha and Steinberg, a member of the Yamaha group.

This year’s show will take place at the China Import & Export Fair Complex, with VUE booth in Hall 1.1. The 2-storey booth measures 90sq.m, and will present a series of “VUE Technology Experiences” with insights into the technologies behind VUE’s most distinguished products. NASHVILLE — Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God Tour made its annual trek in Dec. 2015, with a tour-capping show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Dec. 13. Sound engineer Nolan Rossi, pictured here, used Roland’s M-5000 digital mixing console to manage both the FOH and monitor mixes for the show production, which involved 11 musicians and vocalists performing nightly in a variety of church and theatrical settings. MELBOURNE – Melbourne’s new $230 million City West police station in Docklands houses nearly 1,500 staff, united from multiple locations and divisions. The building is also the new home of the Forensic Audio Unit, who are tasked with analysis and enhancement of audio recordings to solve and prevent crimes.
