UT Martin Upgrades Fan Experience with Community

MARTIN, TN – The University of Tennessee at Martin has upgraded its stadium with a new audio system of Community R Series and W Series loudspeakers. Lowrance Sound Company of Union City, TN designed and installed the new system to especially provide coverage for the bleacher section. The stadium’s previous system was a 10-year-old, end-zone design.

In Memoriam: Charles ‘Chuck’ Wiesner, 65

RICE LAKE, WI — Former Tasco sound mixer Charles “Chuck” Maynard Wiesner died Oct. 18 at his home. He was 65 and had a long career working with top artists. They included Nazareth, Ozzy Osbourne, Pat Travers, Boston, Tina Turner, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac and others over a 30 year span. He gave up the road 12 years ago to work for Link Ford in Rice Lake, where he was Senior Master Certified in Ford and Lincoln Products and also won the Ford Presidential Award for five years in a row.
