SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Zoo recently partnered with Natural Encounters, Inc. (NEI) to present a bird-themed entertainment experience at the Zoo’s Hunte Amphitheater. SOAR: A Symphony in Flight is scheduled to run for 17 months, and the zoo and the SOAR’s producers invested in permanent sound reinforcement for the show.

Procon Supports Viva Comet Awards with Meyer Sound Gear

OBERHAUSEN, Germany — For the Comet Awards, recently held at König-Pilsener-Arena and broadcast on Viva TV, a German subsidiary of MTV Networks, Procon Event Engineering supplied over 190 Meyer Sound self-powered loudspeakers, which stayed out of TV sightlines for the live broadcast pop music event. The TM Array configuration of subwoofers was deployed to provide even low-frequency coverage.
