2010 SCAD New Alumni Festival

CLEVELAND, OH – Sound engineer Garry Brown started mixing for Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio's band in 2006, then moved into Phish's mixing chair when the band re-formed in 2009. Brown then switched to Midas digital mixing consoles prior to a three-week run with Anastasio in February, and then opted to bring the Midas XL8 on Phish's summer tour.

AUBURN HILLS, MI – With over 35 stops on the tour, American Idols Live! kicked off July 1 at The Palace in Auburn Hills, Mich., featuring the top 10 finalists of season nine, including winner, Lee DeWyze. The tour ends August 31 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.

STURGIS, SD – The 70th annual Sturgis motorcycle rally is set for Aug. 9-15, when the 6,442-population town will welcome thousands of bikers with attractions that include burnout drag competitions, extreme motorcycle stunts, half-mile races and live concerts from bands and artists including Bob Dylan, Motley Crue, Alice in Chains and Disturbed.

THIBODAUX, LA – Originally dedicated in 1923, St. Joseph Co-Cathedral is a 650-seat house of worship built in the Renaissance Romanesque style. Tampa-based AVI-SPL based the installation of an L-Acoustics KIVA and XT loudspeaker system, on a SOUNDVISION model created by L-Acoustics' Dan Palmer.
