David Crowder Band Tours with Sennheiser Gear, TRUE PT2-500s

VERBENA, AL – On what is possibly its last tour, the David Crowder Band has been using Sennheiser wireless products on the road for the duration of its 2011 road trip. The band is using Sennheiser 900 Series microphones, both on instruments and vocals. This year the band has also been touring with two TRUE Systems PT2-500 preamplifiers, using them to capture material for two albums to be released in the coming months, including a Christmas album titled Oh For Joy that's due out in October.

LACKAWANNA, NY – Ronco Specialized Systems recently installed a Renkus-Heinz Iconyx digitally steerable line array at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica, a church known for its collection of religious artwork and 19th century architecture.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Aurora Sound and Light Design installed the sound system for Boardwalk Beer Garden, a new attraction at Caesars Atlantic City. It incorporates several JBL PRX615M powered monitor loudspeakers for a changing assortment of live, recorded and DJ music.

NEW YORK – Shure gave an assist to the 12th annual Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC), which drew a nucleus of about 1,200 music industry insiders for industry panels, exhibitions, press conferences and networking events at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York and attracted a wider pool of Latin Alternative music enthusiasts with events staged at other venues, including SummerStage in Central Park.

AUSTIN, TX – Ken Dickensheets of Dickensheets Design Associates knew the Tannoy QFlex 24s he demoed at Saint Mary Cathedral were a hit when the church "wouldn't give them back." Along with sound quality, the QFlex 24s met the need to "blend into the church," which has been designated a cathedral and regional hub since the Diocese of Austin was established in 1948.

CLOVERDALE, CA – Brian Elliott, owner of Eagle Creek Productions, volunteered to help the town of Cloverdale choose sound gear for installation in the new Cloverdale Performing Arts Center. When it came time to test out digital wireless microphone systems, Line 6 XD-70 digital wireless microphones came out on top.
