Event Details: This comic opera in two acts, The Pirates of Penzance is perhaps the most popular work by composer Arthur Sullivan and writer W. S. Gilbert, better known as Gilbert & Sullivan. It opened on New Year Eve in 1879 to rave reviews and has been delighting audiences ever since.
