Production Details

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical based on the 1950 film made its Broadway debut in 1994. The musical’s latest production opened last October. The show is expected to run through mid-July 2025. Among the current production’s challenges is capturing actor Tom Francis at the start of Act II as he descends backstage stairs and is seen by the audience on video performing live outside the theater, with an elaborate setup to keep latency to a minimum while guarding against dropouts through a collaboration between Masque Sound and PWS.
