Event Details
The Gulla/Geechee Nation International Music and Movement Festival took place Aug. 4-6, 2017 and featured performances by Artavist Queen Quet, Wanna Wanmalon African Drum & Dance Company, Gwen Yvette & TC Soul. The festival celebrates cultural traditions of African Americans in coastal South Carolina with ties to West African ethnic traditions that date back to the mid-1700s.
