Tour Notes

Accompanied by nothing more than an acoustic guitar and a custom loop pedal, Ed Sheeran continues to keep stadium-and-arena-sized audiences entertained, selling out large venues months in advance. The tour, which included legs in Australia, Asia, Europe and North America in 2018, will continue in South America, Africa, Asia and Europe next year. It set an all-time record for Billboard’s Nov. 1-Oct. 31 annual touring charts in the 2018 chart year, racking up $429 million with 99 shows. That’s on top of the $122 million this artist grossed with ticket sales in Billboard’s 2017 chart year.
